Water Transfer
Pumps
TanMar uses 325 HP John Deere 10"x8" or a 10"x 6" high volume Cornell pumps capable of 100 BPM plus. TanMar also has a fleet of 175 HP Duetz turbo engines with a 6"x6" Cornell pump capable of 80 BPM plus. TanMar pumps are designed, inspected and tested by our qualified water transfer engineers and operators with operating specification and applications in mind. Our suction end and discharge end is designed with all cam lock connection on the manifolds to eliminate all leaks.
Road Crossings
TanMar offers two standard lengths of 12 and 20 foot road crossings to provide an efficient and safe way to move water across driveways and roads with minimum restriction of water flow. TanMar's road crossings are designed with a low profile to accommodate for easy traffic crossing from the public and oilfield equipment. These low profile road crossings are loaded, unloaded and positioned with our custom built monorail trailers, which eliminates the requirement of a fork-lift or tractor.
Distribution Manifolds
Our distribution manifolds trailers allow us to control the amount of water flowing into 10 individual holding tanks. These Manifold Units have all cam lock connections to eliminate water leaks on the well location. Butterfly valves are used on each inlet and outlet for full control and to ensure that each individual holding tank is full and ready for the Frac crew as required.
Water Transfer Pipes
We use 10" and 8” aluminum pipe with leak proof cam lock connections. This pipe is installed with flow meters, air vents, drain valves and adjustable pressure pop-off valves. TanMar's service techs are experienced at properly engineering the equipment rig up to ensure the required rate set by the frac engineer. TanMar Companies are very aware of the environment and have the utmost respect for the landowners, city businesses, state agencies, federal agencies and their easement requirements .
Filter Vessel
Our filter vessels have the capability of filtering water form to 2 - 400 microns, but we normally use 50 - 100 microns filter which is the industry standard. TanMar is most proud of its latest filter vessel design which is displayed on the left. These trailers allow our water transfer employees to change the filter socks in a safe and quick manner to minimize any downtime. The filter vessel is surrounded by an OSHA approved fixed platform with handrails. Each unit is designed with a pressure gage and a pressure relief valve to eliminate over pressurizing of the filter vessel and the piping. The filter vessel manifold has cam lock connections on the inlet and outlet which prevent any water leakage on or around the filter vessel.
