TanMar’s Water Transfer Division provides all equipment and experienced personnel necessary to move water for any application needed. We have a full inventory of high volume water transfer pumps suitable for transferring water for frac jobs at the rate specified by the customer. With a growing inventory of lay flat hose, 10” ring lock aluminum pipe, and 8” cam lock aluminum pipe we have the equipment necessary to accommodate every request. TanMar has all equipment necessary to satisfy a water transfer operation including road crossings, flow meters, filter pods, and distribution manifolds. Also available is a fully operational inventory of equipment necessary to provide poly pipe services, which includes poly pipe, poly reels, and poly pumps.
TanMar has a diverse inventory of the most trusted, high quality, high volume pumps. No matter what the demand entails, we have the capabilities to fulfill the specified rate. With our recently added inventory of 600hp pumps, we now have the capabilities to transfer excess volumes of 100bpm through a single 12-inch line. We understand the importance of getting the right amount of water to a location at just the right time, and our reliable pumps and skilled personnel make that possible.
In each one of TanMar’s water transfer locations, we have in stock several miles of 10” Aluminum Ring Lock Pipe. Depending on the scope of the job, most any rate can be satisfied through the use of either 1 line to location or 2 lines side by side. With the use of our own customized gaskets, we have greatly reduced the amount of water leaking onto the ground.
The cam lock fittings on the aluminum pipe provide a great solution when a leak free operation is required. These connections are tightly sealed so that no water can escape through the joints. This is commonly used for pumping produced water, pit filling jobs, and frac jobs where the required rate is not extremely high. This pipe is capable of being “pigged” to ensure all excess water can be returned back to the source and not lost on the ground.
With the demand for lay flat hose growing every day, TanMar has committed to substantially growing our inventory with this product to meet that demand. This is proving to be a reliable product that is completely leak free, capable of providing much higher flow rates, and overall reduces the cost to our customers. Through the use of both tugger trailers as well as large hose reels, TanMar is capable of seamlessly deploying this product in very short order. Being that the lay flat hose can be “pigged,” no water is lost through the duration of the job.
TanMar has a variety of road crossings available to accommodate a number of different water transfer layouts, giving us the ability to adequately pump water to a desired location while keeping all in-line roadways passable. Our 12’, 16’, and 20’ road crossings come both in single line and double line options and can be used for many types of applications. Though some of these are specifically built for use with lay flat hose, the majority of our road crossings have the versatility to be used with either pipe or hose.
Our trailer mounted high volume filtration units give us the capabilities to extract water from nearly any source and, through the use of a series of sock filters, can deliver water to a frac site filtered down to the number of microns requested by the customer. Depending on the water source and the microns required, the sock filters can easily be changed out as often as needed to maintain the specified clarity of water through the duration of the job. These also come equipped with a by-pass manifold so that water can be pumped around the vessel without being filtered as well as a pressure relief valve to maintain the safety of our employees.
Our distribution manifolds play an extremely important role in the water transfer process. These are placed behind the “working tanks” on the back of a frac location and used to distribute water as needed to multiple tanks at the same time. Each line coming from the manifold has its own valve so that our employees can continuously adjust the amount of water flowing to each tank to ensure that just the right amount of water is ready to be used at all times.
Flow meters are imperative to not only make sure that we are delivering water at the specified flow rate, but also to accurately account for the amount of water being taken out of a water source. Our operators will depend on these flow meters to monitor the progress of how the water is flowing down the line and can detect any issues with the flow rate before it becomes a problem for the customer. They will record the beginning and ending meter readings to report to the customer in order for them to maintain accuracy of their water usage.
Our offices are open on weekdays from 8:00am until 5:00pm central time.
